Something that’s important to acknowledge here is that Totally Real Records is not one thing.
This is not an indie rock label.
This is not a tape label.
This is not an anything label except whatever it is doing in any moment.
That said, I love being able to work with any artist and release that I believe in, and this record is a great example of that. With the upcoming Pharmakos digital full length, Destroy The System, we’re stepping out into darker, harsher, noisier territory than anything else we’ve done, and we hope you’ll take that trek with us. Cole Hill has a way of twisting sound and emotion out of cold electronics, shreeding guitars, samples, and destructive sonic reductions to cast a cathartic spell – with a blend of post-punk, electronic music, noise, and sound collage, you can never be sure what to expect from the project.
